Do you know if there was a naming tradition where a daughter would be named after her mother if the mother died giving birth to that child?

That is a great idea. I belong to a similar society for Clan Campbell here in the US. My oldest identified Livingstone ancestor married a Campbell and I think the two clans may have historically been allied. Their society is quite active and provides quite a bit of helpful information.

Niall, Could you explain how to pronounce "Moluag"? I wouldn't want to pronounce it wrong when telling my relatives what I have learned of St. Moluag. Thanks.

Correction: I am not sure of the location of Inghamite churches in Scotland or England. There is a Farringdon near Exeter.
