Re: Canadian Livingstones
John, Poked around Ancestry but didn't locate the Paulascotti site you mentioned. More hints? You mentioned distances in your Post. Duncan was 'from' Argyll, west coast, married on east coast. Might have been in Glasgow at the time, but am trying to figure transport one coast to another in 1838....i...

Re: Canadian Livingstones
Am convinced the two you mentioned Duncan 1816 and Dugald 1777 are mine. So are Glasgow and Ancestry - good enough for me. In sydney some 13 years ago found Isobel Livingston in phone book. Had to write. Wrong family. Rather left it there, but now am more than determined....and several researchers a...

Re: Canadian Livingstones
Dear John, As I may have mentioned previously, have Frank McLeod's copy of OPR's and discounted it due to Canadian indication, but several times Glasgow comes back that this Duncan 1816 is mine and only Margaret and 2 daughters left for Canada. Duncan appears in marriage lines, etc. for my G.Granfat...

Re: Canadian Livingstone kin
Trying to get into site read your blog about Duncan (sometimes Dugold, but Duncan on my Grandfather's marriage lines). Think I typed in Dugald. Have list of kin, down to David through place in Utah. Discarded until I read the Grngad address in Frank McLeod's papers, he was helpful with my Margaret M...
