Re: Angus Livingston Anson County, North Carolina

Donald I am your friend Stephen Livingston. John Buchan is my Clan Livingstone screen name. Yes, I am one of the descendants of Euphemia Campbell Livingston whom you are already in touch with! I should have made that clear when I posted. I apologize for causing you to take the time to write that exp...

Re: Angus Livingston Anson County, North Carolina

There are a least of couple of Angus Livingstons in my Scotland Argyllshire ancestry. My wife is a descendant of a Martha Wall Covington (1819-1870) of Rock...

Re: Newcomer and descendant of Archibald Livingston

Thank you, Donald. It is a shame that Duncan had and has no descendants, and I can appreciate that a DNA test is not likely to reveal the father of Hugh, but I nevertheless certainly do want to contribute to the DNA database. I will wait to hear from Kyle Maclea.
Regards,
Stephen

Re: Newcomer and descendant of Archibald Livingston

For instance, are there DNA test results of Morvern Livingstons of Scioto County to compare with my Lawrence County DNA? Or better yet, DNA of desc...

Re: Newcomer and descendant of Archibald Livingston

Donald I am pleased that the 1899 letter from Duncan Livingstone to "cousin Annie Livingstone" offers so many clues. I had no idea of its potential usefulness in connecting dots of our family history. I am not well versed myself in Livingston family history and will need to study your post...

Re: Newcomer and descendant of Archibald Livingston

I am Stephen, Kristen's new friend and cousin. Kristen pointed me to this website and I just signed up for this group this afternoon. Like Kristen, I am descended from Hugh Livingston and wife Effie Campbell. My great grandfather was their son John. I look forward to learning and participating with ...
