MacLay in Switzerland
I am an American decendent of the Maclay family, through a line that immigrated from Bern Switzerland in mid 1700's. I was wondering whether anyone knew what the Maclay's were doing in Switzerland at that time. Was there a Scottish community in Switzerland? Just curious.
