Hi there Allan
I am just wondering where is the locale of your ancestor Duncan Livingstone? As you are likely aware Duncan is a fairly popular name in our family history. I have Duncans in my family history as well, and my grandfather's name was John Duncan Livingstone.
Thanks
Barry

Re: Nova Scotia/PEI Livingstone Research
Hi All Interestingly the information on the Mull Genology site is not specifically for those born in Mull. It seems that submitters such as Jim St. Croix has added information to this, but if the place of birth is not known I think it is left empty. Maybe Jim could confirm this. All of the informati...

Re: Nova Scotia/PEI Livingstone Research
Hi All I don't mean to muddy the water further, but here is something to ponder. I have been somewhat digging as well. Now for the sake of reasoning, if there is any reason in geneology research lol. I have two branches I have been trying to follow on the John Livingston of 1803 in Georgetown PEI. N...

Re: Nova Scotia/PEI Livingstone Research
Wow I've been missing alot. Ok....something else to think about. Colin's daughter Katherine....I don't have any other information other than she was living in USA in 1892. If there is a US census for 1891 she may be in that. She is not married in 1892, because the deed I found for Colin's farm lists...

Re: Nova Scotia/PEI Livingstone Research
Don't forget guys and gals about my descendent, Colin's daughter Catherine or Katherine. At the time of colin's transfer of land to his son, in 1891, Katherine was living in the US and she was not married.

Re: Boston Livingston with Nova Scotia origin
Hi Donald Mary Ann knows that her descendent Duncan Livingstone was married to Mary MacDonald. She said it was a shotgun wedding and then later on he left her. He disappeared after this and she has not been able to find him. If she comes on she will be able to give you more details. If I remember co...
