Beaton Institute, Colin Livingston Inquiry

Hi Roberta No, I was told at the archives that any records from the period I am looking at are no longer housed with Vital Statistics, but are now at the archives, but it doesn't hurt to see what I can find out. Barry

Beaton Institute, Colin Livingston Inquiry

<t>Hi Roberta Actually John and Kate had two children born on PEI, Duncan and Mary. I found this in the Livingstone family file at the Archives, and this was compiled by Dr. St. Clair. Roberta you have Duncan marrying Mary MacDonald. Do you know if she was Catholic and from PEI? Duncan born on PEI i...

Beaton Institute, Colin Livingston Inquiry

<t>Hi Guys You guys amaze me. Sorry I missed chiming in on this, I missed seeing the new thread. I will be very surprised if the Donald Livingston, Lot 31, Livingstons are not related to my family of Livingstons. I think the key is Colin's wife Catherine. I can't believe a woman could fly under the ...

<t>Hi David On the old forum, I'm assuming it also has a backend that is a database, but I know some of them don't. Is there anyway to make the folder or/and dadabase on the webserver read-only, that prevents anyone from posting to the old forum. Also there should be a way to put a splash page up on...

<t>Hi I like! PHPbb is the best free discussion forum platform around as far as I know. It is very stable and has a mysql database to store information. From experience, it is good to backup the database and website folder incase of problems. Restoring the folder and database is easy and it makes a ...

Angus Levingston Lot 55 Upton area PEI b. 1855

<t>Hi Roberta Colin was my Great Great Grandfather. He lived in Forest Hill, Lot 55 sometime between 1861 and 1867 till his death in 1867. His wife's name was Catherine, from a deed I found where the family farm in Forest Hill was passed to Angus. Angus was my Great Grandfather, and later moved to U...

Beaton Institute, Colin Livingston Inquiry

<t>Hi Donald He either sold the land before moving to PEI, or his family sold it after his death. You would think there would have been a deed for the transfer somewhere. Also there should be a Donald Livingstone, either on PEI or Cape Breton. He also may have moved to Massachusetts, like alot of ma...

I know Donald you wanted me to lookup the Donald Livingston in lot 30. Ironically they called yesterday and said they were ready. The plan is to scan these docu...

Beaton Institute, Colin Livingston Inquiry

<t>Hi Donald I stopped at the Archives today, but they were closed. The only place I have ever found Colin's wife Catherine mentioned was in the deed for the farm. She is very mysterious as to her whereabouts. It is possible Colin and she are in unmarked graves, but I can find no reference to them a...

Beaton Institute, Colin Livingston Inquiry

<t>Hi All I have yet to hear from the Archives about whether my documents are ready yet. I'll just have to dropin and see if they have done them yet. So the Catherine we are looking for was probably born in the same time frame as Colin...somewhere around 1818 and she was still alive in 1892. It said...
