Re: New to Forum

Hi everyone! Well I think you have all worked out that indeed Louisa Jane De Mestre Livingstone was indeed a member of the same Livingstone family I connect to. She appears mentioned on this webpage: http://users.skynet.be/lancaster/Adam%20to%20Horace.html which also gives information about newspape...

Re: James Livingston

Thanks to Roberta for citing my webpage. I am just starting to understand that there are two theories being discussed. Well, may I point out that Livingston(e)s from both the Dundee area and the Mull have been DNA tested in the project? There is a very good chance that a DNA test would give a strong...

Re: Y111 test now available to Y67 testees and new testees

I have just ordered an upgrade. I am thinking the so called Parker group might be particularly helped by this new upgrade possibility. But for my own genealogy I am hoping some more of the "MacWho" group will also upgrade. Kyle, might be interesting for Cluster 26 also, in order to try to ...

Donald

If you or any of our Canadian clansmen can get any contact with any of these families, let it be known that I am willing to pay for the genealogical DNA test involved. Perthshire is right in the middle of Scotland and a potential link area for some of our DNA mysteries.

Best Regards
Andrew

Livingstones from the area of Dull, Weem, Loch Tay

I am very interested to find modern descendants of the Livingstones who long lived in the above mentioned area. I found this webpage: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~onlanark/families/duncan_mcdiarmid_family.htm which seems to show a family in Canada. As I know we have quite a few Canadians on the...

Re: Dr. David Livingstone's grandparents

Hi Amanda

Any chance we get your family in the DNA project. We Aussies are already very well represented, but we must keep ahead of the Canadians! :) In all seriousness, it sounds like it would be very interesting to know which other Livingstones your family matches.

Best Regards
Andrew
