Donald, it sounds like you are right on the money in that the Duncan in Richmond County (the eastern portion is now Scotland County since 1899) is my great, great, great grandfather. i saw on a North Carolina land grant database that Duncan received land grants in 1801, 1825, and 1827, all of which ...
