Re: Solomon Livingston, born abt 1819 in Argyleshire - 3 wiv
Laura/Donald, The link below may, or may not, take you to a tree on Family Search, sometimes they work, sometimes not. Do you know anything about a Margaret Brownlee, FS have her as marrying Solomon at Barony, Glasgow on 27 June 1852, so possibly he married four times. Solomons father is listed as N...

Re: Angus Livingstone& Margaret (Hall/McPhail), Shiaba, Mul
Hi Donald, I don’t know if you’ll remember, quite a few years ago, I said that I somehow had McGilvray connections from both Mull & Islay. The Islay relatives I knew, my g/mothers family, the Mull connection, I had never really pursued, until today, when I found the answer had always been there,...

Re: Kirkcudbrightshire,Wigtownshire, Dumfries-shire Livingst
Hi Donald,
Did you check out previous research done in this area, probably about 6 years ago.
If I remember correctly, it was something to do with a family, possibly from Dumfries, who probably moved to Dalry &/or Lochwinnoch, not sure,
John.

Re: Donald Livingstone
I just came across the info below, on Mull Families, reference the marriage of David Stewart Livingstone & Mary Livingstone, both resident Torosay. I'm not too sure if the introduction of a second Livingstone family will help or hinder the research. Mull Families site has a large amount of info ...
