I am just starting my search for my Livingstone ancestors.

Dear Mary It sounds like you probably know more, for example WHERE were they married (which parish if possible, but certainly which country). While we all share some Scottish heritage, participants on this discussion group come from Canada, Australia, the USA and Scotland, just to name the ones I know of. It is in fact surprising though how often that people here may have been working on the same parish you are interested in - surprising but lucky, because you are right about everyone having the same names! Bachuill) 12 Oct. 1812, son Duncan Livingston bap. Lismore, Argyll, Scotland (res. Bachuill) [m. Chirsty McLean by 1830] 26 Dec. 1814, son Hugh Livingston bap. Lismore, Argyll, Scotland (res. Achuaran) 3 Apr. 1817, dau. Sally Livingston bap. Lismore, Argyll, Scotland (res. Achuaran) 7 Sep. 1821, son Alexander Livingston bap. Lismore, Argyll, Scotland (res. Achuaran) Duncan would have been my GGF and he had a son Allan(My GF), but not the one you are looking for.
