ANZAC Branch
Hi Bryan I have had not bad experiences with any of the companies we have worked with really, and all are suitable for starting with. One of the reasons I want to give people the choice is that price is often a concern, and all the companies have various price offers, which some people wish to be able to compare. I'd say Family Tree DNA are most convenient in the sense that they give a lot of webspace to results summaries for individuals and groups to compare and understand their results, and they send out very efficient updates when needed. Some might say that DNA Fingerprint is for the person who likes Christmas presents which need to be assembled, or perhaps I could compare it to chosing Linux instead of Microsoft. It is cheap, fast, high tech (they have a bigger product range), but still not very polished in terms of its webpage assistance to new participants or projects. Whichever company people would select I'll help interpret them. Best Regards Andrew
