The 'Account of McLea' -- a connection?

Hi Kyle, I have no idea what GMB means, (Grand Mother's Breeks perhaps?) but I have noted that in Rothesay there was a Shipbuilder, I McLea who was in business between 1855-1893, building various vessels. Have you researched this? If not try the clydesite or Clydebuilt websites for a list of the names, type and date of build. I mention this, as note that Anne's enquiry has a nautical connection. Cheers, Stewart.

Hi Stewart, Yes, there were McLea shipbuilders on Bute, but I don't know anything about them, other than their existence in the records.
