I'm back Kyle

Post by Canadian Livingstone »

Hi Kyle, I am back at long last after several days of r and r in the log cabin by the lake. Not much canoeing this time round, though I did manage one early paddle down the creek by the lake to check on the blue herons nesting in the trees. Foot still greatly swollen but the extreme pain in the leg is almost gone and I can almost walk normally again. The clot is probably still there however and will likely be there for a some time longer until it is disolved somehow. Much rain, but much got some reading done. Hope to hear from you soon regarding matters of mutual concern. D

Hi Kyle, Looking for a home can be fun, but also lots of work and stress. Hope you find the home of your dreams. The good news is that I am off the booster needles and only need the pills for the clot. THe doctors seem to be of the oppinion that they have it in check. I hope they are correct. Bad news is that I still have a problem with the heart palpitations or whatever it is. Yes the holiday at this time was a bit risky, but it turned out that the medication was fine without the needles last week and it got me to where I have to be according to the Doctor. One of the blue herons turned out be brown which confused me greatly and I thought some other sort of large crane type bird of unknown origin had invaded the creek, but it turns out that the younger herons can infact be brown rather than the characteristic grey-blue shade of the full grown adult birds. They are a big bird with quite a large wing span and something to watch in flight or feeding from the lake.

For Donald Clink, I just want to say thank you for all the assistance you and this website has given me in helping a friend search for his roots. He is a grandson of Glenna Clink, daughter of Stephen Henry Clink, probably a 3rd cousin of yours.
