ANZAC Branch
I am delighted to announce the imminent creation of a Livingstone/MacLea branch for Australia and New Zealand. Grant South has kindly take on the responsibility of establishing the branch under the overall auspices of the Scottish Australian Heritage Council.

I have passed through messages to the DNA project Australians, who I believe to be one of the most heavily represented Livingstone/Maclea national groups in the project. Good luck Grant! Andrew

Thank you Andrew, I will need it! As an Aussie, I think you qualify mate! I was hoping you'd be our foreign correspondent. All the best! Grant.

Hi Andrew, Are there any NZers that have undertaken the DNA project so far?

Hi Bryan Apologies if I forget someone but no, I think we have no NZers yet. Also no South Africans. I have now made a webpage to explain the testing options. http://users.skynet.be/lancaster/partic ... Maclea.htm Put simply, the US is not the only option, but there are no NZ or Australian options. However this really does not add any significant extra costs or other problems. The sampling is very simple and easy, and can be sent in an envelope. Best Regards Andrew

Ah! So Belgium will be part of Australia. I like this idea. : ) We also have an Australian descendent of David Peter Livingstone in Paris, so do we also get to annex France? Please consider me in, if you'll have me! Best Regards Andrew

Niall, Andrew and All, It would appear to me that FamilyTree DNA have been testing since 2000, and have always delivered feasable results. I see no reason why they should not be picked as the DNA Tester of choice. Regards Kevin
