I wanted to publically recommend Lismore and its region as a place to visit, and I want to thank Niall and his family for their taking the time to see us. We seem to have had excellent weather during our recent visit, but I often heard from locals that good weather is common until October. I was lucky enough to have a small visit with Niall and his family, and I am very appreciative. A lovely day, and I met our current chief (Niall's father, Alisdair) and saw the Bachuil! Dear Niall Your mother is a fearless caterer! And I can also recommend her scones. I have put some photos on the DNA website, but if you are interested I can perhaps send a selection to you for possibly putting up on the clan website? It was a beautiful day. The pictures showing the loch worked particularly well because it was like a mirror that day. Regards Andrew
