Lismore on St Moluag's Day
Lismore on St Moluag's Day
Today, June 25th, is St Moluag's Day amd I wish all Livingstones, Macleas and friends 'Joy of the Day'. I have just returned from Lismore with Cousin Bob from New York.

Question
Is the Roman Catholic observance of St. Moluag's Day on August 4th? I find a reference to St. Luanis/Lugid on this site: http://www.saintpatrickdc.org/ss/0804.htm The wikipedia entry for Aug 4th says that Luanis/Lugid's feast day is Aug 4th, so I was curious about whether this was the same man.
Question
I only know of June 25th. This site has him referred to as Moloc of Mortlach B http://www.saintpatrickdc.org/ss/0625.htm#murl But has some very erroneous information. Also refers to Molonachus of Lismore B (AC) 7th century. Molonachus, a disciple of Saint Brendan, became bishop of Lismore in Argyle (Benedictines). http://www.cushnieent.force9.co.uk/Celt ... moluag.htm has quite a lot of info. Regards Niall

Lismore on St Moluag's Day
I should be severely chaistised for my very late response to the unbelievable hospitality shown to me by Niall.
