UPDATE to the McLea/Livingston(e) Database

Post by D.W.Livingston »

Hello Everyone, So anyone who has read my post know I normally write something every day but I have been busy the last couple of days so haven't written (though I have still read the posts) Well now I am done with what I was working on and am happy to announce that we have MOST of the McLea/Livingston(e) Database filled with ScotlandsPeople information. > I have not compiled it into one big sheet... I hope to do that over the weekend but I wanted to give a breakdown of what kind of information we can now pull. I am sending a copy to Kyle and Niall, mostly for back up in case my computer goes screwy and I lose it. I will then compile the information and resend. > First let me tell you what we are missing still as we were unable to make enough email addresses to get all the free credits needed (We still had over 50 email addresses at 20 credits each working on this Project.. but even 1,000 credits can't get it all) Missing: MARRIAGES - Livingston* : Male Surname - 1904 - 1931 (1099 matches / 44 pg) - Livingston* : Female Surname - 1904 - 1931 (1032 matches / 42 pg) - MacLae ( I totally missed this one) : 1553 -1854 (9 matches / 1 pg) - McLay : Male Surname - 1913 - 1931 (129 matches / 6 pg) - McLay : Female Surname - 1915 - 1931 (118 matches / 5 pg) BIRTHS - McLay : 1867 - 1906 (1256 matches / 51 pg) ================================================ What we have access to: BIRTHS - Livingston: 1553 - 1854 (5887 matches) - Livingston: 1855 - 1906 (6951 matches) - McLae: 1553 - 1854 (213 matches) - McLae: 1855 - 1906 (15 matches) - MacLae: 1553 - 1854 (3 matches) - MacLae: 1855 - 1906 (0 matches) - McLay: 1553 - 1854 (897 matches) - McLay: 1855 - 1866 (382 matches) - MacLay: 1553 - 1854 (52 matches) - MacLay: 1855 - 1906 (46 matches) - M'Lea: 1553 - 1854 (0 matches) - M'Lea: 1855 - 1906 (0 matches) - McLea: 1553 - 1854 (478 matches) - McLea: 1855 - 1906 (56 matches) - MacLea: 1553 - 1854 (129 matches) - MacLea: 1855 - 1906 (24 matches) - McOnlea: 1553 - 1854 (5 matches) - McOnlea: 1855 - 1906 (0 matches) - MacOnlea: 1553 - 1854 (0 matches) - MacOnlea: 1855 - 1906 (0 matches) MARRIAGES - Livingston: 1553 - 1854 (3707 matches) - Livingston: 1855 - 1903 (2990 matches) - McLae: 1553 - 1854 (153 matches) - McLae: 1855 - 1931 (9 matches) - MacLae: 1855 - 1931 (0 matches) - McLay: 1553 - 1854 (650 matches) - McLay: Male Surname 1855 - 1912 (391 matches) - McLay: Female Surname 1855 - 1914 (473 matches) - MacLay: 1553 - 1854 (42 matches) - MacLay: 1855 - 1931 (40 matches) - M'Lea: 1553 - 1854 (1 match) - M'Lea: 1855 - 1931 (0 matches) - McLea: 1553 - 1854 (276 matches) - McLea: 1855 - 1906 (32 matches) - MacLea: 1553 - 1854 (50 matches) - MacLea: 1855 - 1906 (7 matches) - McOnlea: 1553 - 1854 (2 matches) - McOnlea: 1855 - 1906 (0 matches) - MacOnlea: 1553 - 1854 (0 matches) - MacOnlea: 1855 - 1906 (0 matches) So a lot of information will be available to research over, get possible migration from Parish to Parish, County to County... we are rounding the bend on this. :) Thank You. This is outstanding, and though I made a small contribution to the effort, please everyone take note of this wonderful project, largely undertaken by David.

UPDATE to the McLea/Livingston(e) Database

Post by D.W.Livingston »

Looking to update the database chronicles I find I last did anything in the forum on it on April 20th. I want to apologize for the slow compiling of all information into one centralized Excel sheet, life tends to get in the way some times. So I have a newly updated sheet that has all the information for births and marriages in one. It has nearly 24,000 entries in it (broken down into a little over 15,000 birth entries and nearly 9,000 marriage entries. The names and dates we have are: LIVINGSTON(E) 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) M'LEA 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) MCLAE 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) MACLAE 1553-1906 (1855-1931 for marriage) MCLAY 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) MACLAY 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) MCLEA 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) MACLEA 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) MCONLEA 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) MACONLEA 1553-1906 (1931 for marriage) What we still don't have: McClae 1553 - 1906 (1931 for marriage) MacClae 1553 - 1906 (1931 for marriage) McClay 1553 - 1906 (1931 for marriage) MacClay 1553 - 1906 (1931 for marriage) MISSING MARRIAGE ONLY FOR MACLAE 1553-1854 McLeay 1553 - 1906 (1931 for marriage) MacLeay 1553 - 1906 (1931 for marriage) I have forwarded the excel sheet to Kyle and Niall, again the offer to send it to anyone who might want to use it is open. :) Thank you all.
