My Ordination
My Ordination
Dear All, For exceptional reasons that I can't share with you just yet, Bishop Michael decided to move things on rapidly. I was therefore made a Deacon on Saturday and Ordained a Priest on Sunday. I shall post a picture or two on the website soon. I am in good heart. I had a very enjoyable supper last night with a RC priest. He was a very well read man and had spent nine years studying at the Scots College in Rome. I was discussing my situation, the ancient office, my plans for giving it new life and he was enthusiastically in support. I am invited to his Church for a big service tonight. On Wednesday I shall be going to Lismore, and on Thursday it is the Games and that night it is the Oban Ball. Fr Niall

Dear Fr Niall, Let me be the first, in the forum, to say Congratulations. That is wonderful news. I personally look forward to hearing more when you are able. Best Regards, David

Fr Niall, It is with great sadness that I read of your family troubles. Be assured that all ANZAC members wish you all the best. But it is with great joy at your ordination

Dear Fr Niall, I read with great joy of your ordination to the priesthood. Many congratulations to you, and may your calling bring you both peace and fulfilment. Also, I do hope that your father is a little stronger. His health must be a worry to you, your mother and the rest of your family. Very best wishes, Jill
