Livingstoun's of Mull circa 1716

From time to time I have mentioned the theory that Duncan McOnlea (or McInlea)of Bachuil had changed the name of the clan sometime in the 1750's. WHether that is correct or not it is fair to say that almost all of the clan in the highlands changed their name to Livingstone by the next decade or two. But as David has pointed out there are some Livingstones or Livingstons in Kilmore Parish

Sorry folks that book title should have read "Inhabitants of Mull and Ardnamurchan" not "Movern". Movern is where my Livingstone family came from. Sorry about that. regards, Donald
