Dear Forum: I recently got a copy of the response to our initial foray corresponding with Miss MacPherson as the NTS.

Hi Kyle McLean, Alot of people will read that article I am sure. It is good for us here in North America to get the message out as so many of our clan made their home here, but I think it would be helpfull to move forward with a strong Scottish representative in Scotland to move this campaign to the next level. So far they are largely unresponsive to our individual pleas and we must as I have suggested to my cousin Jerry, bring in prominent Scottish people to help us with a stronger voice. In the mean time both letters to important people and organizations as Jerry is doing and newpapers which you have all been involved should continue. In the mean time I have a few more ideas of my own that I am presently working on. regards, Donald

It occurs to me that letters to MSPs would do some good.

I sent an email last week to the NTS under the title "IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT". Did not get a response so probably better to send letters addresssed to the Chairperson. Craig

Totally agree that we need people on the ground in Scotland to do some legwork.

I think I meant this one:

Jerry added this, good suggestions! --- From the United States a standard envelope with a 3 page letter cost 90 cents to mail to the following addresses.

I think before the NTS received Jerry's letter, they thought that this was just a few isolated clan members venting in frustration. I suspect having received a fourth letter it became a little more clear that we are not just going to sit back and accept their spin on things.
