Happy New Year to you and your family, and I hope also that your parents enjoy good health in the year ahead.I met them both about two years ago with my cousin Murdo Livingstone from Stornoway and they both made us very welcome.

Allan and Charles, Many thanks for your kind wishes.  My parents are well and saw in the New Year, not going to bed until 2.30am.  Not bad when you consider my father was 90 last year!
