1806 Book on PEI

Post by Canadian Livingstone »

Hi Roberta, Not mine, but a relative of forum particpants Jerry Schidmt and Edith Matheson. This Daniel that lived Iowa is descended from one of the Red River Livingstons that settled like Miles and Jannette Livingston at Red River. These Red River Livingstons unlike my Livingston ancestors remained at the Red river Settlement until the 1830's when several of them left Red River for IOwa, USA. Miles and his wife left Scotland with one of these Livingstons Donald Livingston a boatbuilder. I believe they are likely related to Miles in some way since the records indicate that these Livingstons also have Morvern and Isle of Islay connections as Miles did in Scotland. regards, Donald
