Hi Roberta, Great news that you have found your 5th Great grandfather in the records. The Livingstons listed on the Rambler 1806 passenger list were actually Donald and Mary Livingston of Morvern and their family that came with them from Mull where they had been living apparently for a few years and where they embarked from to go to PEI. This according to John Collins who I assume is a descendant of this Donald and Mary Livingston. The list is arranged oddly so that on one side are all the Male Livingstons and the other side Mary and all female Livingstons in the family. From the way the list is constructed it would be easy to assume that Donald born abt. 1750 was single. According to John that is not the case. regards, Donald

Hi Roberta, Thats great that you contacted John. There is a decendant of Donald and Mary, two ot them actually who have contacted the forum. Dont imagine there are very many Dufus Livingstones. Was that from the 1779 Mull census? ALot of Mull was censused in 1779 I know. regards, Donald

Hi Kyle; Thank you for taking the time to answer my query re: Duffus Levingston. Grandfather Charles Peter 1873-1835 often spelled his name Levingston and even on some occasions said he was Irish. I hope you have a successful move; I mean don t leave anything behind; like I did. Best regards; Roberta
