Thank you everyone!

I did find my phone under a pile of notes I had taken and left on the car seat.

I am working on the sequel blog right now with all the pictures. It is an almost unbelievable chain of events.

Ginger, we are happy to hear that our very short lesson on single malt Scotch Whisky helped you in Lyons. We haven't finished reading your blog but it sounds like a great time.

I received an email yesterday from Mrs. LaVern.

There is a book about to go to press on the Pioneers of Lyons, CO and they are holding the presses to include our Livingstones! I got them the family history today and we will see what happens from there.

Also she will be doing a column on my visit to Colorado and my adventure, in the newly revived Lyons Recorder newspaper. Apparently I am the most newsworthy item since the mule gave birth up on the mountain....

Ginger--did you know her husband's name was Lavern too? Just wondering if you had heard.

Loved the blog by the way! :) Will make a great addition to the next issue of The Parnassus as well!

Hi Donald;

Very interesting finding for Ginger. Congradulations. I found in Lismore Donald Livingston and Christian Campbell had a daughter, Isobel b. March 25, 1769. Could this be the same Donald whom you referenced?

Donald! How GREAT!

This is wonderful. I really did not expect to go backwards anymore. I raise a glass of Oban to you!

I have been planning on going to Scotland since we started this adventure back in October and now after such success in Colorado I am very much inspired to get to Ballachulish. There is nothing like being there in person to inspire people's memories.

I am presently updating the new family book for everyone.

It's funny that all so many names in the future generations were repeated and I know Angus was as well. I also learned from James Lowe's journal, (Mary Livingstone's brother), that his sisters were named Anna & Flora which was what Donald and Mary named their daughters.

Roberta, I am starting to think that somewhere we should be running in with the Livingstons that ended up in Austrailia. Those names are starting to sound familiar. But John did the DNA test and I think we did not hit. I am not sure I understand how far back (in generations) the DNA test can match.

SO much fun!
Thanks everyone!

Ginger
