Samuel Livingston of Bayham Township Elgin County Ontario

Samuel Livingston Sr. b. abt.1790 in Ireland possibly in Monahan County, Ireland d. January 16.1872 Bayham Township, Elgin County, Ontario, Canada. Samuel his wife Sarah, his sons Samuel Livingston Jr. b. 1812 Ireland and a John Livingston settled in the 1820's in the north part of Bayham township, Elgin County,Ontario and were among the early settlers of Bayham Township, Elgin County part of Colonel Thomas Talbot settlement which included Andrew and George Dobbie.

Samuel Livingston Sr, his wife Sarah, his son Samuel Livingston Jr. and his wife also named Sarah and other Livingston relatives are buried in the pioneer Dobbie Cemetery on the 10th concession, in the north part of Bayham Township, Elgin County, Ontario. Samuel Livingston's son Samuel Livingston Jr. was born in Monahan County, Ireland in 1812 according to his tombstone there.

Another rare bit of information on an old pioneer Livingston who settled in the 1800's in Elgin County, Ontario who was actually from Ireland and no connection to the Argyll Livingston John Livingston who settled in Aldborough County. This Samuel Livingston b. 1790 was apparently from Monahan, Ireland.
