We have found a listing in the Kilbride Churchyard for: Neil Livingston, born 1750, died 1 Dec 1819, Soroba, Oban. Plot: MI # 25.
We're intrigued to know whether this Neil Livingston could be the father of our Neil Livingston, b. c. 1770s, m. Mary McIlriach in c. 1795. It is thought that our Neil had a brother John b. c. 1773, who married Flora McCowan in 1803. It is interesting that when Neil Livingston b. 1750 died in 1819 at Soroba, John and Flora Livingston were also living with their family at Soroba. Thoughts or information appreciated!
