Hi John,

One of the Parker Livingston group of the dna project is a descendant of that John Livingstone of Cape Breton mentioned there. Of interest is the fact that the next of kin stated in this 1900 Cape Breton, Nova Scotia obituary that John's father John Livingston Sr. arrrived in 1806 from "Mull".

My own hunch is that likely most of those in Parker Livingston group have a ancestral connection known or unknown with Mull/Colonsay or neighbouring Morvern where my Livingston ancestors came from. THey have as a group been definitely identified as being without doubt sharing a highland maclea Livingstone origin. I am hoping that the rest of the Parker Livingston group will eventually submit brief ancestral Livingstone family histories to Andrew.

regards,

Donald
