The document is about 4 pages but it didn't let me attach even just one page. Maybe its just not possible to put more than one attachment on a thread.

HI Amanda,

The Clan Chief suggested in this situation that you send any documents you have a problem with here to me via my e-mail address which I sent via our Clan Maclea Livingstone private messaging system and also the Clan Chief's e-mail address in that message to you as well as he wishes to send you the Clan History he wrote several years go which contains some information on your Westquarter Livingston family.

regards,

Donald

Hi Donald, I can't find a message from you sorry. I did try to message you just now but it didn't work. Sorry for my incompetence I will get to know the system over time. I am happy to email you the information I have and I would love to have the information from the Clan Chief regarding the Westquarter family. up at the top of the page here it says 0 new messages.

Hi Amanda,
Think I figured it out and it seemed to acknowledge that a message had been sent to you this time when I struggled with it. I don't use it very often

This time I think I have got it working right or at least there is now a record on my end of the messaging system that a message was in fact sent which hopefully means I did it right. You should actually get an e-mail message if I was successful with this indicating that there is a message for you at the Clan Maclea Livingstone forum that you can access at our forum when you log in. As you mentioned you will also see when you log at the top of the forum page whether their are any new messages for you. Hopefully I did it right this time.
