Hi John,

Yes indeed Donald Livingstone Sr. b. 1750 of Morvern origin left Tobermory, Mull in 1806 with his entire family including sons Duncan, b.1772, John b. 1775 Donald b.1780 and Alexander b. 1791. and settled in Prince Edward Island. He settled in 1806 at Nine Mile Creek, Lot 65, Queens County, PEI. The majority of the Livingstons that settled in Nova Scotia and neighbouring in PEI in Canada in the early 1800's were of Mull origin with a couple of families from Morvern and one or two also from Colonsay. So far all the Western Argyllshire Livingstons of Nova Scotia and PEI Livingston ancestry in the Project have proven to be Parker Livingstons interestingly enough. A descendant of Donald Livingston Jr. son of Donald Livingston Sr. b. 1750 of Nine Mile Creek did the test more than 10 years ago now and appears to be a strong match with other Livingstons in the group that also share a documented Morvern ancestry including my own Livingston cousin. Apparently I and my cousin are relatively closely related to Donald Livingstone of Savary, Morvern and other Morvern Livingston families that lived in the 1700's along the west coast of Morvern across from Mull. The strongest Morvern Livingston match of 67-1 for my own cousin however is with a Livingston with ancestry to Livingston with a connection to Kilundine, Morvern according to the records. The Livingstons with Mull origin are a little more distantly related at 67-4 or 67-5 or 67-6 generally speaking.

regards,

Donald
