According to 1901 Census Donald and family are residing in the area of Ben vear house
Have not seen the 1911 Census info but it is known from Donald Livingston's British Army document of August 24, 1916 that son Donald David is enlisting in the Army Service Corps Mechanical Transport. He states his father's name is Donald Livingston His brother Lachlan Livingston according to his military Attestation document of January 12, 1915 is joined the Royal Corps of Engineers. He gives his place of residence as Benveir House, Ballachulish and that his father is Donald Livingston.
In 1924 Donald Livingston having survived the War arrives in Canada with his wife Jean Currie. On his entry record into Canada it is recorded that his father is Donald Livingston of Benveir House so this confirms that the father the elder Donald Livingston born in 1856 is still residing in the area of Benveir House.
