Hi Maryanne;
This Mary Ann who married John Livingston, son of Kate and John: is listed in Mabou II as being from Bras d'Or. This is a mistake. Mary Ann is my 3rd Great Aunt and she was from Low Point, not Bras d'Or. Mary Ann was the daughter of John Livingstone b. 1827 and Emily Roper b. 1835 of Low Point, Cape Breton. Mary Ann was b. 1854 d. 1939.

Thomas b. 1869 d. 1918 at Pictou buried New Glasgow
Andrew b. 1872 d. 1955
All of the above were born in Low Point.
I will get you Mary Ann and John's children after I retreive them from my "pile".

Just so things don't get too confuseing , The names that Roberta listed above are the children of Emily Roper and John Livingstone. I know for myself that it is very easy to get all of the different Livingstone family's mixed up. I don't really kow who Emily Ropers siblings were but I'm sure if Roberta has them she will post them for you.

Hugh age 23 married Marion C. Sutherland 21, Dec. 1910
Mary Jane age 33 married Francis Hay Wright Boyd 39 July 8, 1919
John Allan b. Sept. 1874 married Minnie Julia McDougall age 28, Nov. 16, 1901. John died May 26, 1950. Julia b. Aug. 16, 1873. Died Sept. 30,1925.
John Henry b. Feb. 6, 1880. John Henry was married --not dated--Mrs. Henry Livingstone died age 36, Oct. 1917; T.B. no maiden name listed.
Duncan b. June 20, 1877. Died Dec.17, 1945. Single
