Hi Roberta,

There is some amazing stuff here involving family of old Malcolm Livingston of Cape George. So now we have a death date for two sons Allan and John sons of old Malcolm Livingston. From an old land record and the 1838 Arrisaig Township census where the family was living in the Livingstone Cove area in Antigonish County, I sense that his widow was named Mary and the sons were Allan, Duncan, Donald and this JOhn you mentioned who died earlier.

regards,

Donald

Hi Roberta,

Wonderful!!!!!!!! So now we now that early Livingston pioneer Malcolm Livingston the father of Allan and John, who arrived around 1792 first at Miromish and then settled later at Cape George in Nova Scotia was from Ardgour Parish in Argyllshire which is just on the other side of Loch Linhe from Ballachulish. We have been talking about Ballachulish at the the forum recently in regards to Livingston family research.
Thank-you very much for that.
regards,

Donald
