Hi Roberta,
Thanks for all that you do. Robs birth records for Lismore were actually Christenings. He was mistaken on that I think. I have seen the original parish book and to my recollection there were only baptisms and some marriages recorded. There should be both boys and girls in the original baptismal records. Perhaps they were omitted by mistake.

I did not find too many early marriage records in the Lismore or Appin Parish records when I went through the parish record a year or so ago. It was one or another or both I had a problem with. You may have better luck. Not sure what I did with the list now.

Thank you for another marvellous treasure trove of christenings and marriages, Roberta! You list two of my 3times great aunts: Mary, whose baptism you recorded on Luing, was married to Macolm McInnes in Craignish in 1805, and one of her younger sisters, Ann, who married Alexander Stewart in 1814. For the remainder of her life Mary lived at Kilmartin and died at Carnasserie, Kilmartin in 1870, and Ann went to live at Inverlivermor.
