I LOVE MY BOSS! (Usually I just tolerate him which is more than most people do)

HE GAVE ME TOMORROW OFF to finish up my stuff for the festival. "Because he is the SON OF MUNN" (and I worked 120 hours in 2 weeks..salaried of course).

He told me not to hurt my back throwing poles.. (cabers) I said I plan to stand around drinking scotch and hoping the caber tossing kilt wearers bend over so I can see who got the blue ribbon.... (I got kicked out of his office at that point.)

I am SO relieved!!!!!!

SWEET...

Go and enjoy it all Ginger. I'll be looking forward to your report. It may motivate me to find out a little more about the Highland Games out on the Taieri - I think they're sometime after Christmas (being our summer of course).

Have a great weekend.

Can't wait! Greg and I will be similarly documenting the Highlands Ranch games! Not sure on the speed of said update, but perhaps you will give us the kick in the... kilt that we need.

Jerry came through for me today on the name tags!

I did, however make a correction......Honey, it's "CLAN" with a 'C".

In celebration I have whiskey (Jameson therefore the "e") whiskey caramel "Double Whiskey Ice Cream" in the churner. :D

Like I need a reason.

I hope we like the Glenmorangies because we will be using their tipple to host. I tried the Lasanta in Boston and loved it. Today it was on sale $8 OFF so I bought it as our official hosting libation. :D

My husband would have had a stroke if I bought the Oban (Which is also $8 off until the end of the month so I might have to sneak back.)

and since he was standing right there....

LOL Oban is cheap compared to the one I really like. Of course Balvinie 30 yr is a little too smooth most of the time.

Don't put too much whisky in the ice cream Ginger. Too much and it will act like anti-freeze!

Enjoy the Gathering.
