Hi Andrew,

Another example of how science is helping the study of Dr. David Livingstone as is the DNA project you are involved in. Sadly one of Dr.Livingstone's great-grandsons, Dr. David Livingstone Wilson passed away in March in Scotland. Dr. Wilson's interest in the family tree resulted in a David Livingstone family tree completed in the 1980's which has proven very helpful to Livingstone family researchers.

regards,

Donald

I see in today's paper that this letter is to be made available as a free resource at http://www.livingstoneonline.ucl.ac.uk in the near future. It looks an interesting website.

What wonderful news for us--something to keep an eye on. We should definitely try to be at the fore-front of providing this as information to our users and members. An article on this for a future Parnassus would be most welcome!

Kyle

Maybe you could contact the website and ask them if they have anything they could write up maybe with one of us, or perhaps do a written interview?

Regards
Andrew
