Remembering Veterans

Post by Kyle MacLea »

Remembrance Day/Veterans Day: Hope you are all remembering those who fought for freedom around the world. I have several MacLea ancestors (and others) in that category. They deserve to be remembered long and well.

All best,

I spent the day wandering around Seattle and went to a cemetery in Shoreline and took pictures of the flags. Here is my favorite that I took for the 365 Project. It faded some on the upload. http://365project.org/gingersanders/365/2010-11-11

I didn't see any Macleas or Livingstons, but there was a stone titled "GUEST" so I guess.....if you ever want to visit on a long term basis....

Thanks Kyle,
It was a very moving experience.

I am VERY close to launching my "Livingston at Large" commercial photography website. I'll keep you posted!

The post processing of thousands of photos is ...........mind numbing.

Ginger,

Great picture. What software are you using for PP? CS4, Elements or something else? Inquiring photographers want to know. ;)

CS5 o a 30 day trial, which is almost up, but, I can get the full version on a student discount for $180 so I am going to do it.

OK..I have a few galleries up now. Many more to come this next week (trying to make a practice of not working on Sunday).

My life has changed dramatically as my husband is back east indefinitely taking care of MY mother (long story) and I am learning to live alone, which I have never done...... So, off to church today by myself.

Anyway,

Here it is. Livingston At Large......... http://www.livingstonatlarge.com

Happy Trails everyone!

OH ...just came to me...... I can set up private and/or public sale or not-for-sale galleries to document and/or fund raise for the clan. I have unlimited space. Which would be cool with the "Livingston At Large name :)
