One At A Time

Post by beadmom »

Was at an Etsy meeting tonight and a new woman came in. She asked if I was Livingston at Large Photography and if Livingston was my married name or maiden.... (maiden) Livingston is also Her maiden name....awesome!

She will be checking in here as she is a Novia Scotia Livingston looking for info.

She doesn't live that far from, no more than a mile and a half.... me so we will stay in touch.

YAY! :D

Hi Ginger,

It is really amazing how many Livingstons out there are connected to a Canadian Livingston ancestor. A significant number of highland Argyllshire Livingstones made Nova Scotia in Atlantic Canada, their home particularly in the early 1800's. Forum contributors /genealogists Jewel Brown and Roberta Livingstone are of Nova Scotia Livingstone origin and have contributed greatly here in the discussion of pioneer Nova Scotia Livingstone families and their genealogy. Nova Scotia Livingstone descendants are always welcome.

regards,

Donald

So right, Donald! It seems that in a large set of cases, Canada is the key connection. Livingston/es who went to the US seem to be a lot harder to trace. It's fortunate so many went to Canada!

Hi Everyone;

Today is the day that we, Canadians, celebrate our birthday. July 1st, 1867. It's our 144th, non-revolutionary, birthday.
Helping us celebrate are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge; Will amd Kate.
Happy Canada Day to everyone.

Kindest regards;

Roberta

Happy Canada Day, Roberta! I hope it is lovely where you are, it certainly is here in Colorado. :)

Enjoy the weekend! We'll be enjoying the OTHER end of the weekend very soon. Along the border, this must be a nice time for a very long weekend!
