Children's Livingstone Kilt

Post by JLivings1 »

It's been a long time since my visit! I hope everyone is doing well. My 5 year old son accompanied me on a few piping events and said he would now like to have a kilt. I have checked online and nobody seems to offer the children's kilt in the Livingstone tartan. I don't want to spend a lot as he will probably grow out of it soon. Can anyone help me find a Livingstone children's kilt?
Thanks,

Good question, James! I haven't seen one, but I'd like to know the answer (eventually) myself.

Let's all have a look around and see what we can find!

James, if you could contact me by this email address games at clanlivingstone.com I have an idea for you. I have a piece of tartan that might work for a kilt that size. I had seen your post before but for some reason couldn't remember where after I had checked my fabric supply.

Greg and Kyle,
I found a vendor who will make youth and infant kilts! Alexis Malcolm Kilts in Florida can make it. They have the Livingstone Modern tartan which would match mine. They charge $75 and it includes flashes. I will be contacting them soon with measurements.
Thanks for your help.

Your welcome, James. I know that Alexis makes some very well received kilts and well received by the kilt wearing community in the US/Canada.

You mentioned piping events in your original post. Are you a piper and if so, with which pipe band?

James,

That is GREAT to know. This will be on my list when the time comes. Thanks so much for passing it along. Other clansmen will also be interested, I am sure.
