Another archaeological dig

Post by Kyle MacLea »

From the ARGYLL list, I spotted some interesting posts about a dig.

Some photos from an Oban archaelogical dig:

containing "3 Bronze Age round houses,
metal working site
1800's farm steading
middens and burn site"

Apparently, this relates to Eilean Munde at Glencoe, which was a burial island?

Some interesting shots!

Apparently, this area was abandoned by the 1840s.
