Re: Newsletter Title
Why not make it:
The Parnassus
A Newsletter of the Clan MacLea (Livingstone) Society
This would be in keeping with the name of the society and not indicate a specific time period. That way when we do go to quarterly we would not have to change the second line.

Re: Newsletter Title
Hi Kyle, Greg and Jill,
The Quarterly notion I guess was just for show. In an ideal world perhaps a quarterly newsletter would be nice. Whatever works for the clan. I think two times a year would also be good. I guess it would make better sense to utilize a photo of a Parnassus flower or better still an old photo of a drawing rather than attempt to draw one ourselves. Certainly would be easier.
regards,
Donald

Hi Donald;
While I know we are in the embrotic stage of our newsletter. May I make a suggestion. That we introduce a bit of levity by including a Limerick. I am sure we have literati within our members who would be happy to compose a happy and funny Limerick: in honour of our Scottish - Irish heritage.
Regards;
Roberta

Re: Newsletter Title
As mentioned above Book titles often have the same title “In the Arena” comes to mind. I say go forward with "The Parnassus" or is there a Gaelic version that sounds better? That could have the phonetic spelling under it.

Re: Newsletter Title
Good question, Jerry. But my thought is that probably there aren't a lot of gaelic words for very specific types of flowers out there. I could be very wrong though.
Hope all is well back east. Did you make it to the Christmas Walk?

Kyle,
All’s well back East, just arrived back East from a long weekend in Sunny Palm Springs. I passed on the Christmas walk this year. I was willing to attend but my bride does not have the same hearty ancestry as us to have weathered the 32 degrees, wind, and rain/sleet during the event.
