Fortunately or unfortunately, all of our "Clan Web" pages are administered and looked after by our Chief, Niall. At the moment he is the only one who can add/remove pages....

If you email chief (at clanlivingstone dot com) you should get him, though he is quite busy.

If we could come up with a page for links, that would be helpful.

I think we should link to the main page (www.clanlivingstone.info) and also the Forum if people will link to two pages (index.php) We could alternatively provide the Join page, but I think it will be easier to recruit anyone if they come to the Forum first!

Might be good to come up with some links we'd like to make first, then contact Niall. Then, we can add a few all at once.... include the Tartans Museum link Greg provided as well.

Then, later additions will only require Niall to add in at the bottom. And we can do that in batches (every few links we get, we contact him to add).

Just some ideas...

I will get started on doing links this week.. Would you mind if I set us up a twitter so I can grab those people's attention? I should be able to get clanlivingstone (right at the 15 limit :) and clanmaclea.

Then I can tweet to the ancestor and genealogy peeps etc...Also..If we get the recipe part more active we can get a hash for #scottishrecipes

As well as links,I have felt for some time that more prominence should be given to the Clan Society on this website. I feel that it is too tucked away. We have over 400 registered users of the site, but not enough members of the Society, and I think we might attract more people if it was listed towards the head of the Board Index, and in such a way as to catch people's attention, say under a heading "Join Our Clan Society". I don't know whether this is possible or not.

OK. I can't get the twitter accounts to work now so don't spread the word yet.
