Re: Misc.
Hi John,
Actually that is one of the source books I am utilizing is Macleans books. Great book. Very Infomative. Mentions the 77th Montgomery highlanders who following the end of the French and Indian Wars in 1764 received land grants from the King in the Argyle and Hebron Township area of Charlotte County, NY later known after trhe American Revollution as Washington County, NEW York State. Daniel Livingston was a private in the 77th Highlanders and before coming in Canada in the 1790's resided in Argyll Township, Charlotte County, NY.
regards,
Donald

Re: Misc.
All going well, the link below should give access to the information from Michael Ford, who ran the Mulls People site until a few months ago, the site contains a total of around 32000 names, all of whom are of Mull descent, of these names, approx. 700 are Livingstones, using one or another version of spelling.
Michael kindly gave us permission to use this info on the site, or in any appropriate manner we feel fit, I know he will probably never see this post, but thanks anyway Michael,
John
PS. Ignore the second file on Alexander Livingstone, I forgot to delete it.

Re: Misc.
John,
Sorry I haven't gotten this up for you yet. It looks like you've posted a "link" (LNK) file rather than the actual documents?
I can also try to get this up somewhere if you like, now that I have a little time? Let me know!

Re: Misc.
Kyle,
I had this info stored on Skydrive, I've tried sending a few other links, & this appears to be the format Skydrive uses to send links, or maybe it's just me, if you right click on the link logo, then click open, it should operate.
If you can get it in a better format, excellent, I'll remove the original once you get it done, I was not too pleased with the results from Skydrive, thanks,
John
