Hi Henry, By Canada I assume you are referring to the Province of Ontario or Canada West as it was referred to in the 1860's. Canada East was Quebec. There isnt an 1860 Census. Comprehensive censuses available to the public that included all occupants of households in Ontario are for the years 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901 and most recently released after a protracted squabble with the Government is the 1911 census. The U.S Census was in 1860 however. Census records in Ontario (Upper Canada/Canada West) prior to 1851 just list information primarily on the principal householder.
