Lismore Visit
Lismore Visit
Bill, The Oban ferry times are here http://www.calmac.co.uk/summer-lismore-timetable2.html and you can see that you will arrive on Lismore at 9.35 am and depart at 3.45 pm. There are no pubs or cafes on the island so you have to bring a picnic (risky in case of bad weather) or lunch at Port Appin. My suggestion is that you arrange for Dorothy Livingstone (taxi Telephone 01631 760 220) to collect you from the Oban Ferry, give you a tour of the island and take you to Port Appin for the 11 or 12 ferry. You can lunch at Port Appin.

Bill, I am on Lismore but returning to Milnathort on Thursday 3rd August - so will look forward to seeing you at Lochgelly. I can give you details of Lismore contacts then - but probably best to organise Dorothy as soon as possible. Regards Niall

Just back from Lismore with the staff for a big parade tomorrow at St Andrews. I am glad you enjoyed your trip, and hope you felt it was a good homecoming. Will probably see you in 2008!
