Interesting information found
So did mine but can't show a graph in Text form
Two highest points in history was 11 Jul 1809 - 31 Jan 1833 AND 16 Jan 1831 - 31 Jan 1833 with the average being 6.25 After 31 Jan 1833 it starts to dip and ends with the end of Parish records on 31 Dec 1854 with 3.58. Out of the ordinary spike happened 01 April 1749 - 15 Dec 1755 where it went from 1.55 up to 2.59 and then back down to 1.72 Out of the ordinary dip happened 16 April 1823 - 8 Feb 1826 where it went from 5.14 down to 4.41 and then back up to 5. I can see adjusting to yearly or decade births with whole numbers when we have them all listed. I can also see, when we get all the information having a double line graph depicting Mclea/MacLea births and compare to Livingston(e) births to see where they intersect or major spikes of one and dips of others. Livingston(e) information from ScotlandsPeople
Hi DAvid, This is all interesting and exciting news. As i was at the library part of day and doing my excercise to get my heart back on track I am bit behind the latest news. However I am going to check out this Scotspeople and appreciate your advice on that. As mentioned to Kiall and Niall I dont know if I or we can jump to conclusion on the Inverary Parish information you provided us, but if we have a bit more information and some more details regarding the parish records,I think we may be in stronger position to test some of ideas that Kyle suggested and that I am thinking. I am prepared to go parish by parish in records to try and find what I am looking for. I might not find it as some of these parishes are far from my Western Argyll neighbour. However there is more than one thing i am looking for and those parishes that are adjacent to Bute may also tell me something if my hunch is correct. regards Donald

According to ScotlandsPeople, these are the records they hold, and their time-table for availability: http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/conte ... ?r=554&413 As you can see, some "Minor" birth records from the OPR era and beyond, and "Minor" marriage and death records from the Statuatory era as well, are not yet imaged, but they are indexed.

Stirlingshire Parish is where Falkirk, Linlithgo and Callendar House are located isnt it? Lots of Livingstons there for centuries I would imagine. Great stuff!!! Donald

Didn't take me that long, probably an hour total, but did get the repetitive stress on the old mouse-hand going something fierce! I wish SP would give you an option to display larger screens of data for the equivalent number of credits.
