See the following article about free Nova Scotia Birth/Marriage/Death record searches... http://legacynews.typepad.com/legacy_ne ... a_rel.html In light of our "Collect the World of Livingstones and McLeas" database, perhaps someone would care to run some searches for these and provide them to David?

If anyone feels inspired to, you could look at these LIVINGTON, LIVINGSONE, and LIVINGSTOM records and see if it is an indexing error for each, or if it is the actual spelling seen in the record. I can't get it to work on my Mac here at work, but I will try it at home on my PC when I get the chance, if someone doesn't beat me to it! Kyle=

Note that the one McLea supposedly listed, Angus, is not a McLea at all, but a McLean in the original record! Kyle=

Checked these records: --- Births: Livington, Albert Edwin Cumberland County 1876 Marriages: Holliday, John E. Livingson, Julia Cumberland County 1894 Livingsone, Thomas Wainright, Annie Cumberland County 1890 Deaths: Livingstom, Bessie Amherst, Cumberland County 1941 --- The indexing is wrong on all four. Should be: Births: Livingston, Albert Edwin Cumberland County 1876 Marriages: Holliday, John E. Livingston, Julia Cumberland County 1894 Livingstone, Thomas Wainright, Annie Cumberland County 1890 Deaths: Livingstone, Bessie Amherst, Cumberland County 1941 I have reported these errors, but they may not be corrected any time soon... I also reported the McLea for McLean error as well, with the same caveat! but since it's free, it doesn't hurt anyone too much, and it's really easy to check! kyle=
