Although not an advocate of clan commercialization, I personally think it would be in good taste and appropriate to distribute photos to clan members of his honor the Baron of Bachuil. I have suggested this in the past and there was no response to this suggestion, but I am hoping to change that with of course the permission, blessing and encouragement of the Baron and the Young Bachuil.

While certainly a large undertaking, an authorized biography of the Chief would be most welcome.

Kyle, I could not agree with you more. Who knows from there perhaps a film. What would you think of perhaps Sir Richard Attenborough as a director. He has done some fine work in the past. I would prefer Sir David Lean, my personal favorite who directed Lawrence of Arabia, but regretably he is no longer around. I was thinking of Ewen MacGregor as the Baron as a young man. I am sure about who would play the elder Baron. Sean Connery and Peter O'toole just dont seem to be a good fit for the role. Anyways we are getting ahead of ourselves. We dont even have a book yet. regards Donald

What about Peter Mullan for the role of the elder Baron?

There is the challenge. Locate a picture of the Baron as a young man and determine which modern day actor would be most suitable to play the part. I like Ewen, but there may indeed be someone more suitable. I think Colin Farell won't work out for this role nor Will Farrell. Donald
