Dear Forum, I received the following reply today to my recent note.
New Reply from NTS: Way Forward or Dead End?
Kyle, She is starting to sugar coat her responses diverting the attention away from the stone marker out in the field and keeps trying to draw our attention to the inside of the visitor centre.

HI Kyle, Ok maybe we could negotiate with the NTS where a special exception could be made to get the entire stone to read all 20 or so clans which were involved, not unlike the Appin Regiment stone which I have shown you in the old APpin Churchyard. We could work out with the NTS the fine details of how this could happen and put some closure to this dispute.
Way Forward
I have friends who used to work at the NTS. SM used to be a lawyer and has a reputation for being a bit of a tough cookie. Nevertheless, I think that they are beginning to realise that this is not going to go away - and furthermore I think that they will soon realise that their arguments have no merit and do not stand up to scrutiny. If a few more people can write in then I think that they may be sufficiently attentive to read and listen to a letter from me - especially as the Stewart Society position is the same as ours.
