Thanks Donald,
We are close.
The men named in the quarry picture are Duncan, John and Charles. Margaret said Dugald, John and Charles by mistake... still.. Duncan was also a brother of Donald. (Duncan born abt. 1870/1871 Bonawe,Ardchattan Parish) as well as Charles and John.. But I still think the Charles in the picture is the brother of Dugald, son of Donald and Ann and uncle to the other two.
Here is what I have as children of Dugald, (son of Donald and Ann) and Catharine McDonald of Ballachulish.
Donald born May 3,1863 Glasgow as recorded in the Glasgow High Church records
John born March 14,1866 Ballachulish, Appin Parish (St. John's Episcopal Church Records Ballachulish)
Charles born Oct. 10, 1868 Bonawe,Ardchattan Parish
Duncan born abt. 1870/1871 Bonawe,Ardchattan Parish
Dugald born Sept. 11,1873 Ardchattan Parish either in village of Bonawe or Kenacraig
Catharine born abt. 1876 Ardchattan Parish either in village of Bonawe or Kenacraig
James born abt. 1878 Ardchattan Parish either in village of Bonawe or Kenacraig
Mary born abt. 1880 Ardchattan Parish either in village of Bonawe or Kenacraig

SIGH... except now realize I miss counted and #31 is not the older man....so I guess it could be Charles the younger.
At least I feel 100% on the headstone....unless I fell and cracked my own head on it.

OH OH.. YOU ARE RIGHT!!! SO SORRY!
GINGER made the mistake...
I crossed DUNCAN McKenzie with the Livingstons..
Ughhh... I am working on sifting tens of thousands of discovery documents for a legal case.. Yesterday I got all excited because I found a bunch pertaining to FERGUSON and then realized it had nothing to do with the DNA stuff I've been reading about..... grrrrrrrrrr.....I just finished getting in some more docs to go through and there "Here Ginger, Here's a few more for you".... THERE are 7780 more.
I'm going CRAZY!
Thanks Margaret! Please forgive.

The other thing I noticed.....
No (e) on the headstone....big long family story about how the (e) got dropped by the Army.....and I do remember Aunt Kate using the (e) on her checks....but it looks like it was long gone before the Army got involved.

Re: My Livingston(e) Line
Good news for me! I am going to Denver today for work. I will have Friday to myself there and so will be able to go to the Office of Vital Records with my chain of documentation showing that I am entitled to the death/burial information for Grandpa Donald.
Grandpa JW sent me his birth certificate to assist in completing the chain and that alone was a miracle!
I may find the stone carver that migrated to Colorado after all.

Re: My Livingston(e) Line
Hi Ginger,
I think it is worth going through the hassle because I think you probably want to determine for certain whether or not there is any death record for your ancestor from Scotland in the possession of the Colorado government. It seems from what you have told me that he probably died in Colorado sometime around WW1 or thereafter. I would assume that his death was registered in the State of Colorado.
regards,
Donald

It all worked out so well as far as timing and I get the bonus of meeting Greg and Joyce!
The weather is lovely. I had to buy different clothes.
If I find out enough info to get an idea of a burial location I might stay over Saturday and see what else I can come up with!
